CLSU Delegates Attend Hannukah

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) delegates attended the Celebration of Hanukkah organized by His Excellency Ilan Fluss, Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Philippines, held on December 21, 2022, at the Rockwell Center, Makati City. The event aimed to thank the partners of the Israel Embassy, whom Ambassador Fluss called Ambassadors of Peace, and enable them to learn innovations in business, agriculture, and community building. University President Edgar A. Orden led the CLSU delegation together with Dr. Armando N. Espino, Jr., Vice President for Research and Extension, Dr. Maria Excelsis M. Orden, Director for Research, Dr. Eugenia G. Baltazar, Director for Extension, and CLSU MASHAV scholars. During the event, Dr. Baltazar presented the collaborative projects of CLSU with MASHAV and Israel Embassy particularly the Philippine-Israel Center for Agricultural Training (PICAT), MDT Shalom Farm and Garden Project, and PhIlSmart likewise, the community outreach projects with Shalom Club-Nueva Ecija represented by some of its officers and members led by its President, Ms. Lorna Mae B. Vero of the Provincial Government of Nueva Ecija.  Her presentation was followed by President Orden’s message wherein he thanked MASHAV and Israel Embassy for the projects entrusted to CLSU. He further affirmed CLSU’s continued commitment to the partnership projects with MASHAV and the Embassy. As a symbolic gesture of gratitude to the Israel Embassy, President Orden also presented to Ambassador Fluss a CLSU memorabilia. With this, the Embassy, through the words of Ambassador Fluss, hoped that other areas or higher education institutions will learn from the initiatives of CLSU in Nueva Ecija. The event wrapped up with a candle lighting ceremony in observance of Hanukkah, socialization and networking dinner.

CLSU Holds Blessing for Farmers’ Training Hostel

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) officially inaugurated the Farmers’ Training Hostel during a blessing ceremony held on November 20, 2024. The blessing was led by Fr. Rufo Ramil Cruz, CLSU Chaplain, joined by Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, University President, Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, Vice President for Administration, Dr. RavelinaR. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Karenina B. Romualdo, Vice President for University Business Affairs, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth C. Leoveras, Head of Auxiliary Services alongside other esteemed members of the Administrative Council. The newly renovated Farmers’ Training Hostel is a two-story building with 24 rooms, designed to accommodate visitors and guests, particularly those attending stay-in training programs. The hostel is located behind the CEC Hostel and adjacent to the R&E Cafeteria.

CLSU Maintains Strong Global Standing, Ranks 69th in 2025 AppliedHE

In the latest edition of the AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has reaffirmed its strong global standing by securing the 69th position in ASEAN Region and the 4th rank among public universities in the Philippines. CLSU has been recognized for its high ratings in key areas, including Employability, Quality of Teaching and Learning, Cutting-Edge Research, Community Engagement, Internationalization, and Institutional Reputation. This accomplishment underscores CLSU's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and community development. The 2025 AppliedHE ASEAN Rankings saw a notable increase in participation, featuring 100 public and 100 private universities from across the ASEAN region. #SievingForExcellence #CLSUGoingGlobal

AFTERMATH AT CLSU | Restore and Rebuild

The recent typhoon brought challenges to Central Luzon State University, leaving visible signs of its impact across the campus. These photos highlight the resilience of the CLSU community as we come together to restore and rebuild. The administration would like to express its sincere gratitude to the CLSU personnel and students who went above and beyond in assisting with the cleaning and clearing operations, as well as to those in the kitchen who prepared meals for our students.
