A substantial delegation of 304 Central Luzon State University (CLSU) employees is currently participating in the State Colleges and Universities Faculty Association of Region III (SCUFAR III), which commenced yesterday, May 20, until May 23, 2025, with a grand opening program at the Costa Pacifica Pavilion in Baler, Aurora. With Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) as this year’s host, the friendship competition aims to foster camaraderie and sportsmanship among SUC’s faculty and staff.
Participating SUCs from the region are ASCOT, Bulacan Agricultural State College, Bataan Peninsula State University, Bulacan State University, CLSU, Don Ventura State University, Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, Philippine Merchant Marine Academy, President Ramon Magsaysay State University, Pampanga State Agricultural University, Philippine State Colleges of Aeronautics, Tarlac Agricultural University, and Tarlac State University.
Among the esteemed attendees were Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and Dr. Lora L. Yusi, Director IV of the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office III (CHEDRO III), who lively joined the opening program.
Meanwhile, University President Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, together with his vice presidents, and Faculty Association Inc. President Roy Searca Jose P. Dela Cruz led the CLSU delegation.
Immediately following the opening program, the highly anticipated Beach Body competition kicked off, marking the start of the competitions.
