CLSU GARNERS OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIP OF CAASUC III

Central Luzon State University emerged overall champion of the 2017 Culture and Arts Festival of State Universities and Colleges, Region III (CAASUC III) held at the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy last October 26-28. It bested 12 other participating institutions. CLSU won the championship in six dance, literary and musical contests, to wit; Chorale Competition; Indigenous Dance; Extemporaneous Speaking; Vocal Solo; Instrumental Solo; and Poster Making. It also won in the Mr. & Miss CAASUC III Pageant. Moreover, CLSU landed 1st runner-up in Dagliang Talumpati, Essay Writing, Short and Sweet Play, Vocal Duet, Photography and Folk Dance; and 2nd runner-up in Pagkukuwento, among other contests. The CLSU Maestro Singers grabbed the championship of the Chorale Competition. The CLSU Gintong Ani-Philippines is champion in Indigenous Dance. Mr. & Miss CAASUC III Neal Thaddeus Lopez-Vito and Ma. CLSU Holds Blessing for Farmers’ Training Hostel

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) officially inaugurated the Farmers’ Training Hostel during a blessing ceremony held on November 20, 2024. The blessing was led by Fr. Rufo Ramil Cruz, CLSU Chaplain, joined by Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, University President, Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, Vice President for Administration, Dr. RavelinaR. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Karenina B. Romualdo, Vice President for University Business Affairs, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth C. Leoveras, Head of Auxiliary Services alongside other esteemed members of the Administrative Council. The newly renovated Farmers’ Training Hostel is a two-story building with 24 rooms, designed to accommodate visitors and guests, particularly those attending stay-in training programs. The hostel is located behind the CEC Hostel and adjacent to the R&E Cafeteria.

CLSU Maintains Strong Global Standing, Ranks 69th in 2025 AppliedHE

In the latest edition of the AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has reaffirmed its strong global standing by securing the 69th position in ASEAN Region and the 4th rank among public universities in the Philippines. CLSU has been recognized for its high ratings in key areas, including Employability, Quality of Teaching and Learning, Cutting-Edge Research, Community Engagement, Internationalization, and Institutional Reputation. This accomplishment underscores CLSU's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and community development. The 2025 AppliedHE ASEAN Rankings saw a notable increase in participation, featuring 100 public and 100 private universities from across the ASEAN region. #SievingForExcellence #CLSUGoingGlobal

AFTERMATH AT CLSU | Restore and Rebuild

The recent typhoon brought challenges to Central Luzon State University, leaving visible signs of its impact across the campus. These photos highlight the resilience of the CLSU community as we come together to restore and rebuild. The administration would like to express its sincere gratitude to the CLSU personnel and students who went above and beyond in assisting with the cleaning and clearing operations, as well as to those in the kitchen who prepared meals for our students.
