CLSU GRAD LANDS TOP 3 ON AGRICULTURAL BIOSYSTEMS ENGINEERING EXAM

A graduate of CLSU College of Engineering emerged as topnotcher in the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Licensure Exam administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) last September 29-30, 2021. Engr. Abdullah Peralta Meriales, who hails from Asingan, Pangasinan and graduated Cum Laude last March 2021, landed third place in the examination with a rating of 82.64 percent. He is among the 49 CLSU graduates who passed the said exam, yielding an institutional passing rate of 44.95 percent. Meanwhile, on a national level a total of 507 examinees out of 1,392 passed the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Licensure Exam. CLSU Holds Blessing for Farmers’ Training Hostel

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) officially inaugurated the Farmers’ Training Hostel during a blessing ceremony held on November 20, 2024. The blessing was led by Fr. Rufo Ramil Cruz, CLSU Chaplain, joined by Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, University President, Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, Vice President for Administration, Dr. RavelinaR. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Karenina B. Romualdo, Vice President for University Business Affairs, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth C. Leoveras, Head of Auxiliary Services alongside other esteemed members of the Administrative Council. The newly renovated Farmers’ Training Hostel is a two-story building with 24 rooms, designed to accommodate visitors and guests, particularly those attending stay-in training programs. The hostel is located behind the CEC Hostel and adjacent to the R&E Cafeteria.

CLSU Maintains Strong Global Standing, Ranks 69th in 2025 AppliedHE

In the latest edition of the AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has reaffirmed its strong global standing by securing the 69th position in ASEAN Region and the 4th rank among public universities in the Philippines. The recent typhoon brought challenges to Central Luzon State University, leaving visible signs of its impact across the campus.
