CLSU HOSTS PH-THAILAND BINATIONAL CONFERENCE

The Central Luzon State University played host to the Philippines and Thailand Binational Conference held last November 27-28. The activity which was aimed at contributing to the enhancement of the participants’ knowledge in agriculture technologies and community development was attended by 34 faculty researchers/scientists from five universities in Thailand, and their counterparts from CLSU. Seven research papers were presented/discussed by Thai professors while three papers were discussed by CLSU and Philippine Carabao Center researchers/scientists. The paper presentations were held at the CAS Little Theater. CLSU students also attended the seminar. The conference was made possible through the collaborative efforts of King Mongkut Institute of Technology and Maejo University (Thailand) and Central Luzon State University. The second day of the conference (November 28) gave the Thai group the chance to visit a number of projects within the university. They also visited other research institutions within the Science City of Munoz, to wit; Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech), Philippine Carabao Center (PCC), and Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice).

CLSU Bithay Sining Dance Company Bags Gold at the 2025 World Mask Dance Competition in South Korea

CLSU Celebrates Monthlong CSC Anniversary

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) proudly joined in the nationwide celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC), showcasing its commitment to excellence in public service. Throughout September, the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) organized a series of activities for employees designed to foster camaraderie, strengthen professional skills, and promote holistic well-being among its staff. These events include a diverse lineup, featuring Fun Run, Wellness Day, and Sportsfest, which promote health and community spirit, while Customer Relations Management Training sharpens professional skills. The University also facilitated Philsys National ID Registration and a vital Bloodletting Activity, underscoring its dedication to both its staff and the wider community.

CLSU Receives Outstanding eNGAS and eBudget System User Entity Award

Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through its Financial Management Services led by Dir. Jinky Parugrug, has been honored with the "Outstanding eNGAS and eBudget System User Entity" Award for the second consecutive time. The recognition was conferred during the Government Financial Management Innovations Circle, Inc.'s (GFMIC) 16th Annual National Convention, held on September 25, 2025, in Tagbilaran, Bohol. This accolade underscores CLSU's exemplary utilization of the Electronic New Government Accounting System (eNGAS). The eNGAS is a critical software solution designed to modernize government accounting, ensuring all financial transactions are processed with accuracy, reliability, completeness, and timeliness. CLSU stands out among academic institutions, being one of only three universities nationwide, alongside Tarlac State University and Bukidnon State University, to receive this distinction. Other awardees were drawn from National Government Agencies and Local Government Units (LGUs). The award was formally accepted by Mr. John Mark Tangonan, head of the Accounting Office, together with staff from both the Accounting and Budget Office. This achievement serves as a significant affirmation of CLSU's strong commitment to digitalization and its dedication to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in financial reporting.
