CLSU Hosts the University Consortium 4th Faculty Forum

As an affiliate member of the University Consortium (UC), the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) is now hosting this year’s Faculty Forum which is attended by more than 40 participants from the UC member institutions from December 5-7, 2022.   With the theme “Future-Proofing Agriculture”, the event aims to feature researches and technologies that are relevant to the emerging problems of agriculture in Southeast Asia.   Participants of the Forum are faculty researchers from CLSU, Kasetsart University (KU), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), IPB University (IPB), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB), Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Tokyo University of Agriculture (Tokyo NODAI), National Taiwan University (NTU), Visayas State University (VSU), Maejo University (MJU), and University of British Columbia (UBC).   The two-day event simultaneously holds parallel sessions highlighting concerns on Food Security by Addressing Food Loss and Waste (Session 1), Enhancing Sustainability of Agricultural Activities Amid the threat of Urbanization and Climate Change (Session 2), Ensuring Zero Hunger through Precision Agriculture and Application of Smart and Cutting-edge Technologies (Session 3), and Encouraging Young People to Engage in Agriculture (Session 4). The ongoing sessions are currently being held at the CED Teachers Hall Amphitheater and URC Seed Laboratory Mini Amphitheater in CLSU.   As an add-on to the Forum, foreign participants will be touring the CLSU R&D Centers focusing on crops, livestock, fisheries, and precision agriculture on their last day of stay on campus.

CLSU Claims 2nd Spot Among Top-Performing Schools in the 2025 Agriculturist Licensure Exam

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through the College of Agriculture, has once again proven its status as a Center of Excellence in the recently conducted Agriculturist Licensure Exam administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in November 2025. The University was recognized as the second-highest-performing school in the 2025 Agriculturist Licensure Examination, with 208 “Golden Grains” successfully passing, earning CLSU an overall performance rating of 91.63%, up from its previous rating of 82.57%. CLSU Sustains its Standing in the AppliedHE Asia Rankings; Climbs to 2nd Rank Among the Best Public Uni in the Ph

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has maintained its impressive standing in the latest AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, affirming its position among the best universities in Asia and in the Philippines as it secured a ranking in the 201-220 bracket, improving its position to 2nd among public universities in the country and 1st in Central Luzon. CLSU shares its national ranking with Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, Davao Del Norte State College, West Visayas State University, and Pangasinan State University, while the University of the Philippines continues to hold the top spot. CEn Produces 16 New Licensed Civil Engineers
