The Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through its Office of Student Affairs (OSA), officially inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Simplicio Gamboa Sr. Foundation Inc. (SGFSI) aimed at providing valuable support and opportunities for CLSU students held today June 17.
The MOA was led by Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, University President, and Dr. Irene G. Bustos, OSA Dean, and Mr. Edward Joseph M. Vitug, President of SGFSI, and witnessed by Ms. Juliet Mendoza of SGFSI.
As stated in the MOA, CLSU through its OSA, will pre-screen applicants following the scholarship guidelines. The institution will also monitor and report the academic standing of the grantees to ensure continued eligibility and transparency.
Dr. Abella expressed his gratitude for the trust and support extended by the Foundation, stating that the partnership reflects the University’s mission of extending holistic education to those who need it most. He emphasized that scholarship initiatives are vital in enabling capable students to overcome financial barriers and reach their full potential.
Meanwhile, Mr. Vitug expressed confidence in CLSU’s capability to nurture scholars into future leaders in their respective fields. He shared that the Foundation remains committed to helping young Filipinos achieve their dreams through sustained and meaningful educational support.
