CLSU Produces Topnother in BLEPT; Brings out 358 New Licensed Teachers

The College of Education (CEd), one of the pillars of Central Luzon State University (CLSU), continues to soar high in its performance on the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) after successfully producing a topnotcher in Secondary Education based on the released official result by the Professional Regulation Commission on May 19, 2023.   This feat was made by Ms. Theresa Galleta Dangkulos who secured the top 10 spot with a garnered score of 91 percent on the said exam. Joining her on the list of passers are 71 elementary education and 286 secondary education graduates.   Meanwhile, first-time takers showed commendable performance with a passing rate of 96.65 percent for elementary education and 91.61 percent for secondary education. With this, the university exceeded the national passing rate both in elementary and secondary education with 79.78 and 79.94 percent, respectively.   Congratulations to our new LPT Passers!

CLSU Bithay Sining Dance Company Bags Gold at the 2025 World Mask Dance Competition in South Korea

The CLSU Bithay Sining Dance Company, one of the cultural groups in the university achieved a remarkable feat on the global stage by winning the Gold Prize under the group category (International Division) during the 2025 Andong Mask Dance Festival and World Mask Play Competition, held from September 25 to October 6, 2025, in Andong, South Korea. The choreography showcased Philippine heritage through dynamic movements, vibrant costumes, and storytelling. CLSU Celebrates Monthlong CSC Anniversary

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) proudly joined in the nationwide celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC), showcasing its commitment to excellence in public service. Throughout September, the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) organized a series of activities for employees designed to foster camaraderie, strengthen professional skills, and promote holistic well-being among its staff. These events include a diverse lineup, featuring Fun Run, Wellness Day, and Sportsfest, which promote health and community spirit, while Customer Relations Management Training sharpens professional skills. The University also facilitated Philsys National ID Registration and a vital Bloodletting Activity, underscoring its dedication to both its staff and the wider community.

CLSU Receives Outstanding eNGAS and eBudget System User Entity Award

Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through its Financial Management Services led by Dir. Jinky Parugrug, has been honored with the "Outstanding eNGAS and eBudget System User Entity" Award for the second consecutive time. The recognition was conferred during the Government Financial Management Innovations Circle, Inc.'s (GFMIC) 16th Annual National Convention, held on September 25, 2025, in Tagbilaran, Bohol. This accolade underscores CLSU's exemplary utilization of the Electronic New Government Accounting System (eNGAS). The eNGAS is a critical software solution designed to modernize government accounting, ensuring all financial transactions are processed with accuracy, reliability, completeness, and timeliness. CLSU stands out among academic institutions, being one of only three universities nationwide, alongside Tarlac State University and Bukidnon State University, to receive this distinction. Other awardees were drawn from National Government Agencies and Local Government Units (LGUs). The award was formally accepted by Mr. John Mark Tangonan, head of the Accounting Office, together with staff from both the Accounting and Budget Office. This achievement serves as a significant affirmation of CLSU's strong commitment to digitalization and its dedication to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in financial reporting.
