CLSU-RET HOLDS 29TH IN-HOUSE REVIEW OF COMPLETED, ON-GOING RESEARCHES

The university, through the Research Office of the Research, Extension and Training (RET) conducted the 29th CLSU In-House Review of Completed and On-going R&D Projects last July 11-12. Presented during the two-day activity were 22 completed researches, 35 on-going studies and three thesis. (From left to right) Dr. Tereso A. Abella, CLSU president; Dr. Fe. L. Porciuncula, VP for RET; and Dr. Fortunato A. Battad, President Emeritus, gave their respective messages which in part commended the committed efforts and examples shown by past research leaders of CLSU and other renowned personalities in the R&D arena, and provided inspiration as well as challenge to the present and budding researches to carry on and develop, respectively their passion for research, it being a potent engine for progress and mobilization.

CLSU Claims 2nd Spot Among Top-Performing Schools in the 2025 Agriculturist Licensure Exam

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through the College of Agriculture, has once again proven its status as a Center of Excellence in the recently conducted Agriculturist Licensure Exam administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in November 2025. The University was recognized as the second-highest-performing school in the 2025 Agriculturist Licensure Examination, with 208 “Golden Grains” successfully passing, earning CLSU an overall performance rating of 91.63%, up from its previous rating of 82.57%. CLSU Sustains its Standing in the AppliedHE Asia Rankings; Climbs to 2nd Rank Among the Best Public Uni in the Ph

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has maintained its impressive standing in the latest AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, affirming its position among the best universities in Asia and in the Philippines as it secured a ranking in the 201-220 bracket, improving its position to 2nd among public universities in the country and 1st in Central Luzon. CLSU shares its national ranking with Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, Davao Del Norte State College, West Visayas State University, and Pangasinan State University, while the University of the Philippines continues to hold the top spot. The 2026 AppliedHE edition has expanded its coverage to include institutions across the entire Asia region, moving beyond its previous focus on the ASEAN region. CEn Produces 16 New Licensed Civil Engineers

The College of Engineering (CEn) celebrates the newest batch of 16 licensed civil engineers who recently took the challenging November 2025 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Their success has resulted in an institutional passing rate of 17.78%, an achievement that underscores their persistence and intellectual fortitude. To our new Civil Engineers, our warmest congratulations on reaching this pivotal career milestone!
