CLSU Sends-off Green Cobras for SCUAA III Athletic Meet

Boosting the morale of the student athletes, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) officials and staff led by University President Dr. Evaristo A. Abella held a send-off ceremony to the 298 ‘Green Cobras’ who will represent the university to the Regional State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) on May 19-24, 2024 hosted by Tarlac Agricultural University. “Compete, do your best and represent CLSU with integrity and respect to your opponents, officials and to the rules of the games,” said President Abella. The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Sports Development Office headed by Dr. Ravelina R. Velasco and Prof. John A. Agaton, respectively, organized the 310-strong delegation composed of 298 student-athletes supported by 42 coaches and trainers. The Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through the College of Agriculture, has once again proven its status as a Center of Excellence in the recently conducted Agriculturist Licensure Exam administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in November 2025. The University was recognized as the second-highest-performing school in the 2025 Agriculturist Licensure Examination, with 208 “Golden Grains” successfully passing, earning CLSU an overall performance rating of 91.63%, up from its previous rating of 82.57%. CLSU Sustains its Standing in the AppliedHE Asia Rankings; Climbs to 2nd Rank Among the Best Public Uni in the Ph

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has maintained its impressive standing in the latest AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, affirming its position among the best universities in Asia and in the Philippines as it secured a ranking in the 201-220 bracket, improving its position to 2nd among public universities in the country and 1st in Central Luzon. CLSU shares its national ranking with Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, Davao Del Norte State College, West Visayas State University, and Pangasinan State University, while the University of the Philippines continues to hold the top spot. CEn Produces 16 New Licensed Civil Engineers

The College of Engineering (CEn) celebrates the newest batch of 16 licensed civil engineers who recently took the challenging November 2025 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Their success has resulted in an institutional passing rate of 17.78%, an achievement that underscores their persistence and intellectual fortitude.
