CLSU Showcases Livestock and Aquaculture Innovations in Int’l Industry Expo

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) advanced livestock and aquaculture technologies by participating in the Livestock and Aquaculture Philippines 2024 International Industry Expo held at the World Trade Center (WTC) from May 22-24, 2024. With the theme Harnessing Innovation and Technology for Sustainable Farm Development, the University proudly displays the outputs of its cutting-edge research in blue and green economies such as Sure Feeds (SFEED) for Goat, Three-way Cross Goat, Chevon Products, Dairy Products, Tilapiang Daing, Aquashade Technology, and Cara Cuero, among others. Additionally, on Friday, May 24, CLSU’s esteemed experts will play prominent roles at the sustainability forum. Dr. Edgar A. Orden, University Professor, will serve as the Keynote Speaker. Dr. Alvin T. Reyes, Head of the Department of Aquatic Post-Harvest at the College of Fisheries and Freshwater Aquaculture Center, and Ms. Christine Hellen Adriano, Head of the Training and Information Unit at the Philippine Carabao Center, will participate as Panel Speakers. CLSU is among the 250 exhibitors participating in the event under the Sustainability Corner to highlight sustainable practices and raise awareness on sustainability through a forum. This event is organized by Informa Markets to connect public and private sector activities, create business opportunities for manufacturers and suppliers with potential distributors, partners, and buyers, and foster an environment for knowledge and expertise sharing to advance sector development.

CLSU Holds Blessing for Farmers’ Training Hostel

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) officially inaugurated the Farmers’ Training Hostel during a blessing ceremony held on November 20, 2024. The blessing was led by Fr. Rufo Ramil Cruz, CLSU Chaplain, joined by Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, University President, Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, Vice President for Administration, Dr. RavelinaR. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Karenina B. Romualdo, Vice President for University Business Affairs, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth C. Leoveras, Head of Auxiliary Services alongside other esteemed members of the Administrative Council. The newly renovated Farmers’ Training Hostel is a two-story building with 24 rooms, designed to accommodate visitors and guests, particularly those attending stay-in training programs. The hostel is located behind the CEC Hostel and adjacent to the R&E Cafeteria.

CLSU Maintains Strong Global Standing, Ranks 69th in 2025 AppliedHE

In the latest edition of the AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has reaffirmed its strong global standing by securing the 69th position in ASEAN Region and the 4th rank among public universities in the Philippines. CLSU has been recognized for its high ratings in key areas, including Employability, Quality of Teaching and Learning, Cutting-Edge Research, Community Engagement, Internationalization, and Institutional Reputation. This accomplishment underscores CLSU's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and community development. The 2025 AppliedHE ASEAN Rankings saw a notable increase in participation, featuring 100 public and 100 private universities from across the ASEAN region. #SievingForExcellence #CLSUGoingGlobal

The recent typhoon brought challenges to Central Luzon State University, leaving visible signs of its impact across the campus. These photos highlight the resilience of the CLSU community as we come together to restore and rebuild.
