eFARM Academy inks MOA with DTI-NE

CLSU’s CHED-funded program dubbed as ‘engaging Food and Agricultural Resources Management (eFARM) Academy’ inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Trade and Industry- Nueva Ecija (DTI-NE) to seal their partnership on the implementation of agro enterprise and provision of business counseling for eFARM lifelong learners, held at the ICCEM Conference Hall today, June 08. The MOA signing was attended by the Dr. Richard V. Simangan, Provincial Director of DTI-NE, Ms. Maria Odessa R. Manzano, Division Chief of Business Development Division, Dr. Edgar A. Orden, University President, Dr. Armando Espino Jr., VP for Research and Extension, Mr. Raise Bulawan, resident COA auditor, Dr. Gella Abella, eFARM Academy program leader and ICCEM Head, Prof. Maria Adrielle Estigoy, eFARM GROW project leader, Dr. Celyrah Castillo, eFARM KITCHEN project leader, and the program team. The partnership with DTI-NE hopes to forge meaningful collaborations and expand assistance to local learners of the eFARM Academy in Nueva Ecija through pursuing entrepreneurial opportunities. This activity was an offshoot of the collaboration meeting with DTI-NE that concluded last April 2022.

CLSU Bithay Sining Dance Company Bags Gold at the 2025 World Mask Dance Competition in South Korea

The CLSU Bithay Sining Dance Company, one of the cultural groups in the university achieved a remarkable feat on the global stage by winning the Gold Prize under the group category (International Division) during the 2025 Andong Mask Dance Festival and World Mask Play Competition, held from September 25 to October 6, 2025, in Andong, South Korea. Under the artistic direction of Associate Professor Adonis Voltaire M. Villanueva, CLSU Bithay Sining Dance Company impressed both the audience and judges with its award-winning performance. It highlighted the artistry, discipline, and cultural depth of Filipino dance by combining tradition and innovation. The choreography showcased Philippine heritage through dynamic movements, vibrant costumes, and storytelling. The CLSU Bithay Sining Dance Company’s success at the World Mask Dance Competition solidifies the university's increasing global visibility and impact in the performing arts. #SievingForExcellence

CLSU Celebrates Monthlong CSC Anniversary

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) proudly joined in the nationwide celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC), showcasing its commitment to excellence in public service. Throughout September, the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) organized a series of activities for employees designed to foster camaraderie, strengthen professional skills, and promote holistic well-being among its staff. These events include a diverse lineup, featuring Fun Run, Wellness Day, and Sportsfest, which promote health and community spirit, while Customer Relations Management Training sharpens professional skills. The University also facilitated Philsys National ID Registration and a vital Bloodletting Activity, underscoring its dedication to both its staff and the wider community.

CLSU Receives Outstanding eNGAS and eBudget System User Entity Award

Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through its Financial Management Services led by Dir. Jinky Parugrug, has been honored with the "Outstanding eNGAS and eBudget System User Entity" Award for the second consecutive time. The recognition was conferred during the Government Financial Management Innovations Circle, Inc.'s (GFMIC) 16th Annual National Convention, held on September 25, 2025, in Tagbilaran, Bohol. This accolade underscores CLSU's exemplary utilization of the Electronic New Government Accounting System (eNGAS). The eNGAS is a critical software solution designed to modernize government accounting, ensuring all financial transactions are processed with accuracy, reliability, completeness, and timeliness. CLSU stands out among academic institutions, being one of only three universities nationwide, alongside Tarlac State University and Bukidnon State University, to receive this distinction. Other awardees were drawn from National Government Agencies and Local Government Units (LGUs). The award was formally accepted by Mr. John Mark Tangonan, head of the Accounting Office, together with staff from both the Accounting and Budget Office. This achievement serves as a significant affirmation of CLSU's strong commitment to digitalization and its dedication to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in financial reporting.
