IAO Personnel join Internationalization Capacity building Confab

International Affairs Office (IAO) personnel represented the University in the second leg of training of trainors as part of the ANTENA Project co-funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Commission held from July 11-15, 2022 in Baguio City.   Dr. Parsons N. Hail, head of the International Linkages and Intercultural Unit, Dr. Emil F. Ubaldo, head of the International Mobility Unit, and Mr. Jerome O. Garcia, ANTENA project staff for CLSU, actively participated during the conference where the internationalization experts from the European partners facilitated the workshop about internationalization and globalization and how these affect the internationalization outlook of Philippine higher education institutions (HEIs).   Other ANTENA consortium members which include Benguet State University, Saint Louis University, Ateneo De Manila University, De Lasalle University, University of the Philippines, University of San Carlos, Mindanao State University, Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, Xavier University, and Polytechnic University of the Philippines, participated on the said conference.   The ANTENA project, composed of ten Philippine PHEIs and three European partners, aims to enhance academic quality and research of universities in the Philippines through the development of internationalization capacities.

CLSU Holds Blessing for Farmers’ Training Hostel

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) officially inaugurated the Farmers’ Training Hostel during a blessing ceremony held on November 20, 2024. The blessing was led by Fr. Rufo Ramil Cruz, CLSU Chaplain, joined by Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, University President, Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, Vice President for Administration, Dr. RavelinaR. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Karenina B. Romualdo, Vice President for University Business Affairs, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth C. Leoveras, Head of Auxiliary Services alongside other esteemed members of the Administrative Council. The newly renovated Farmers’ Training Hostel is a two-story building with 24 rooms, designed to accommodate visitors and guests, particularly those attending stay-in training programs. The hostel is located behind the CEC Hostel and adjacent to the R&E Cafeteria.

CLSU Maintains Strong Global Standing, Ranks 69th in 2025 AppliedHE

In the latest edition of the AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has reaffirmed its strong global standing by securing the 69th position in ASEAN Region and the 4th rank among public universities in the Philippines. CLSU has been recognized for its high ratings in key areas, including Employability, Quality of Teaching and Learning, Cutting-Edge Research, Community Engagement, Internationalization, and Institutional Reputation. This accomplishment underscores CLSU's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and community development. The recent typhoon brought challenges to Central Luzon State University, leaving visible signs of its impact across the campus.
