NEDA RO3 Delegation Visits CLSU KAMALIG

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) welcomed the officials of the National Economic and Development Authority Regional Office 3 (NEDA Regional Office 3) led by Hon. Nerissa T. Esguerra, Regional Director and Member, CLSU Board of Regents, as they visit the campus specifically the S&T-based Agritourism Site – KAMALIG, today October 24, 2023. Representing the Office of the University President as OIC, Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, VP for Administration along with Dr. Theody B. Sayco, College of Engineering Dean and OIC VP for Academic Affairs, and several R&D Center Directors accompanied the group as they toured around the different sites inside the KAMALIG. They also visited the Philippine Carabao Center at CLSU specifically the showroom of products made from Carabao Leather Hide, such as bags, belts, sandals, wallets, and cowboy hats before proceeding to the Science City of Muñoz Tourism Office to attend the "From Plan to Action: Central Luzon Regional Development Plan 2023-2028 Forum" where they consulted with different stakeholders including CLSU as representative for the academe and the youth sector.

CLSU Holds Blessing for Farmers’ Training Hostel

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) officially inaugurated the Farmers’ Training Hostel during a blessing ceremony held on November 20, 2024. The blessing was led by Fr. Rufo Ramil Cruz, CLSU Chaplain, joined by Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, University President, Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, Vice President for Administration, Dr. RavelinaR. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Karenina B. Romualdo, Vice President for University Business Affairs, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth C. Leoveras, Head of Auxiliary Services alongside other esteemed members of the Administrative Council. The newly renovated Farmers’ Training Hostel is a two-story building with 24 rooms, designed to accommodate visitors and guests, particularly those attending stay-in training programs. The hostel is located behind the CEC Hostel and adjacent to the R&E Cafeteria.

CLSU Maintains Strong Global Standing, Ranks 69th in 2025 AppliedHE

In the latest edition of the AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has reaffirmed its strong global standing by securing the 69th position in ASEAN Region and the 4th rank among public universities in the Philippines. CLSU has been recognized for its high ratings in key areas, including Employability, Quality of Teaching and Learning, Cutting-Edge Research, Community Engagement, Internationalization, and Institutional Reputation. This accomplishment underscores CLSU's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and community development. The 2025 AppliedHE ASEAN Rankings saw a notable increase in participation, featuring 100 public and 100 private universities from across the ASEAN region. #SievingForExcellence #CLSUGoingGlobal

AFTERMATH AT CLSU | Restore and Rebuild

The recent typhoon brought challenges to Central Luzon State University, leaving visible signs of its impact across the campus. These photos highlight the resilience of the CLSU community as we come together to restore and rebuild. The administration would like to express its sincere gratitude to the CLSU personnel and students who went above and beyond in assisting with the cleaning and clearing operations, as well as to those in the kitchen who prepared meals for our students. A heartfelt thanks also to the generous individuals and organisations/groups who supported our students through mobile load, food and drinks, clothes, toiletries, and most importantly, their prayers.
