Pres. Abella Leads Region 3 in 2025 PASUC Convention

As an active chair of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Region 3, University President Dr. Evaristo A. Abella led the Region 3 delegation in the 2025 PASUC Midterm Convention and General Assembly today, July 9 at the SMX Convention Center Manila. The convention, anchored on the theme “Forging the Future: Empowering SUCs through Innovation, Sustainability, and Excellence,” features lectures and discussions on SUC Governance, human capital development, sustainability, and global competitiveness, among other topics. President Abella emphasized the importance of attending such an event, as this opens the door for collaboration and ideas among SUC leaders, highlighting their shared commitment to elevating the standard of higher education in the Philippines. Joining him in the event were Ms. Jinky A. Parugrug, Director of Financial Management Services; Ms. Clarissa R. Valeriano, Chief of Budget Office; Mr. Ronnie Gutierrez, Chief of Procurement Office; and Mr. Ryan Esteban, Chief of Planning and Development Office. Prominent individuals attending the event were the Hon. Shirley C. Agrupis, Chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education, and the Hon. Amenah F. Pangandaman, Secretary of the Department of Budget and Management. #SievingForExcellence

CLSU Claims 2nd Spot Among Top-Performing Schools in the 2025 Agriculturist Licensure Exam

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through the College of Agriculture, has once again proven its status as a Center of Excellence in the recently conducted Agriculturist Licensure Exam administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in November 2025. The University was recognized as the second-highest-performing school in the 2025 Agriculturist Licensure Examination, with 208 “Golden Grains” successfully passing, earning CLSU an overall performance rating of 91.63%, up from its previous rating of 82.57%. CLSU Sustains its Standing in the AppliedHE Asia Rankings; Climbs to 2nd Rank Among the Best Public Uni in the Ph

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has maintained its impressive standing in the latest AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, affirming its position among the best universities in Asia and in the Philippines as it secured a ranking in the 201-220 bracket, improving its position to 2nd among public universities in the country and 1st in Central Luzon. CLSU shares its national ranking with Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, Davao Del Norte State College, West Visayas State University, and Pangasinan State University, while the University of the Philippines continues to hold the top spot. The 2026 AppliedHE edition has expanded its coverage to include institutions across the entire Asia region, moving beyond its previous focus on the ASEAN region. CEn Produces 16 New Licensed Civil Engineers

The College of Engineering (CEn) celebrates the newest batch of 16 licensed civil engineers who recently took the challenging November 2025 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Their success has resulted in an institutional passing rate of 17.78%, an achievement that underscores their persistence and intellectual fortitude.
