The university‘s student population for the second semester of SY 2016-2017 is 11,911. As per the enrolment report released by the Office of Admissions headed by Dr. Theody B. Sayco, Dean of Admissions, the total figure represents those enrolled in the undergraduate and graduate levels from the eight colleges of the university, vocational and secondary level, and Open University. . The five curricular programs which have the most number of enrolees are : Bachelor of Secondary Education - 1,246; BS Business Administration - 989; BS Civil Engineering - 877; BS Agriculture - 864; and BS Information Technology - 677. . On the other hand, the enrolment by college is topped by the College of Engineering with 2,137 students. . The enrolment figures in the other colleges are as follows: Education - 1,919; Arts and Sciences - 1,834; Agriculture - 1,481; Business Administration and Accountancy - 1,324; Home Science and Industry - 709; Veterinary Science and Medicine - 495; and Fisheries - 366. . In the Vocational and Secondary Level, which has a total of 1,506 students, the Senior High School has the highest enrolment with 977 students. . Meanwhile, the enrolment in the Open University is 140.

CLSU Partners with Terra Solar Philippines Inc. for Agrivoltaic Innovation Project

Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through the Center for Climate Change and Environmental Management (CCCEM) and Terra Solar Philippines Inc., forged a partnership on June 4, 2026, marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing sustainable agriculture and renewable energy integration through the project titled “Assessment of Agrivoltaic Suitability and Crop Productivity Enhancement in the Solar Farms of Gapan City, Nueva Ecija.” The project, funded by Terra Solar Philippines Inc., seeks to evaluate the potential of agrivoltaic systems in optimizing land use by integrating solar energy production with agricultural activities. This initiative reflects the shared commitment of CLSU and Terra Solar Philippines Inc. in promoting innovation-driven solutions that address food security, renewable energy transition, and sustainable land management through research, science, and technology. Present during the ceremonial MOA signing were Dr. Gella Patria L. Abella, Director of CCCEM, and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Terra Solar Philippines Inc., Mr. Dennis B. Jordan, together with other key representatives from both institutions.

CBA CPALE Takers Surpass National Passing

Central Luzon State University, through the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), achieved a 48.65% institutional passing rate in the May 2026 Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination (CPALE) administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). This feat easily surpassed the national passing rate of 30.83%, welcoming 18 newly licensed accountants, composed of 13 first-time takers (44.83%) and 5 retakers (62.50%). The University extends its congratulations to our 'Golden Grains.' Your unwavering dedication, discipline, and hard work have officially paid off. To those who fell short this time, please remember that this examination does not define your capabilities or your future. CLSU Welcomes 3rd Batch of Youth Science Program

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) officially welcomes the Batch 3 students from the Philippine Science High School Luzon campuses: Cagayan Valley Campus, Bicol Region Campus, Central Luzon Campus, and CALABARZON Campus for the DOST-PCAARRD Youth Science Program (DPYSP), which will run from May 25 to June 17, 2026. This 15-day program marks another meaningful journey of mentoring, immersion, and community of practice, aiming to inspire young minds to see the Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources (AANR) sector as a field of innovation, leadership, and nation-building. Throughout the program, the participants will be guided by mentors and resource persons, comprising experts from CLSU and the Community of Elders of DOST-PCAARRD, who will share their knowledge, experience, and inspiration in the fields of science, technology, agriculture, aquatic resources, and natural resources. Building from the accomplishments of Year 1, DPYSP continues to provide senior high school students with opportunities to engage with scientists, researchers, mentors, and communities through hands-on learning experiences. More than learning about agriculture and science, the program aims to strengthen students’ awareness, positive perceptions, and aspirations for S&T careers in AANR, showing them that agriculture is not only about farming but also about technology, research, sustainability, and service to communities. The project is led by Dr. Melanie P. Tolentino, together with Mr. Junior M. Pacol and Ms. Erica Fae De Fiesta as project staff, and Ms. Lovely Sacare and Mr. Brandon Alan N. Lamson as research assistants.
