VP for Business Affairs is an Outstanding Women of San Jose City

Dr. Karenina Romualdo, the acting Vice President for Business Affairs Program, has been recognized as one of the 2025 Ten Outstanding Women (TOW) of San Jose City, Nueva Ecija for her significant contributions as a change maker in academia and community development. The awarding ceremony took place on March 21, 2025 at Nicia’s Place & Event Center in Barangay Tulat. This recognition was bestowed by the San Jose City Local Government Unit to celebrate women who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in their respective fields. Dr. Romualdo was selected after undergoing a rigorous screening process, wherein nominees are evaluated based on their community service, professional contributions, leadership, and moral integrity. With her extensive work in business, education, administration, and agriculture, she has played a vital role in fostering economic growth and sustainability in the region. Her dedication to empowering local farmers and entrepreneurs through innovative programs and partnerships has set her apart as a leader. City Mayor Mario “Kokoy” Salvador, together with Vice Mayor Trixie Salvador and Councilor Susan Corpuz, led the awarding of certificates. Now in its fifth year, the TOW program remains a flagship initiative of the Office of the City Mayor and the City Human Resource Management Office. It was established to acknowledge and honor exceptional women leaders and serves as a pivotal component of the city’s observance of National Women’s Month. CLSU Celebrates Monthlong CSC Anniversary

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) proudly joined in the nationwide celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC), showcasing its commitment to excellence in public service. Throughout September, the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) organized a series of activities for employees designed to foster camaraderie, strengthen professional skills, and promote holistic well-being among its staff. These events include a diverse lineup, featuring Fun Run, Wellness Day, and Sportsfest, which promote health and community spirit, while Customer Relations Management Training sharpens professional skills. The University also facilitated Philsys National ID Registration and a vital Bloodletting Activity, underscoring its dedication to both its staff and the wider community.

CLSU Receives Outstanding eNGAS and eBudget System User Entity Award

Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through its Financial Management Services led by Dir. Jinky Parugrug, has been honored with the "Outstanding eNGAS and eBudget System User Entity" Award for the second consecutive time. The recognition was conferred during the Government Financial Management Innovations Circle, Inc.'s (GFMIC) 16th Annual National Convention, held on September 25, 2025, in Tagbilaran, Bohol. This accolade underscores CLSU's exemplary utilization of the Electronic New Government Accounting System (eNGAS). The eNGAS is a critical software solution designed to modernize government accounting, ensuring all financial transactions are processed with accuracy, reliability, completeness, and timeliness. CLSU stands out among academic institutions, being one of only three universities nationwide, alongside Tarlac State University and Bukidnon State University, to receive this distinction. Other awardees were drawn from National Government Agencies and Local Government Units (LGUs). The award was formally accepted by Mr. John Mark Tangonan, head of the Accounting Office, together with staff from both the Accounting and Budget Office. This achievement serves as a significant affirmation of CLSU's strong commitment to digitalization and its dedication to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in financial reporting.
